I really want to change my rims on my 48 Club Coupe to slotted aluminum rims, but wonder what to do about the lug bolts. Do i have to have all the drums removed and new studs put in? Are these new studs pressed in or threaded in? What has everyone else done? Thanks Paul

just knock off the locatin pin, cut the head off a properly sized bolt to use as a locator, and go for it. Eve a tapered wooden dowl lightly screwed into a lug bolt hole can be used as a locator while you screw the others in lug bolts, if you are cncerned about the head shape of lenght of the lugs then you can do srew in or pressed in studs, I bolted up some cast aluminum dodge magnum wheels on mine with no real problem.

Greg, do you have a pic of these wheels on your car? Are you talking about the Dodge Magnum wagon? I have an '05 Magnum.

Nope, as in cordoba clone, actually Mirada not magnum. only had them on my jeep cherokee for real so no pictures. They were a bit wide for the p15 especially the rear with the p15 fenders they actually required that the axle be jacked down after the car was jacked up to get them on. So I never ran them. Thought they looked nice though. Still got them some where.
