Lou Earle Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 My wiper on my red 47 2 door is not responding to an and off with knob. There is plenty of vacuum but No movement. Before I take it out suggestions on how to lube it ? Lou Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Lou.....is the little rod under the dash that runs from the knob to the wiper motor connected to the motor..... Sometimes those get off the lever, and you are actually not turning anything. Quote
bob westphal Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Where's the windshield washer on a P15? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 most of the time in the house doing dishes, laundry, cooking etc etc... Quote
John Mulders Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 I have put some oil in the tube to the wipermotor and that seemed to have helped to improve the seal insde the vacuurm motor. The wiper now happily wipes about a quarter of an inch away form the glass.... Once I have a decent wiper (that has some power to stay on the glass) I might even drive in the rain John Quote

Your job is to find the zerk,,,you already FOUND this jerk. Heard somebody say it is a GOOD use of WD-40. IF you are talking about the vacum wiper,,,not the washer,,,that is!! Washer comes at the full service bay at the gas station. I used to work at one in the 60's for $.70 an hour,,,washed a many windsheilds back then. A dollars worth of gas and wash the windows please!!! Quote
