Cracked me up, Don. Looks like old Rodney does have his thumb in his ear in that picture.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. If I don't have any serious setbacks, It will be able to move on its own power before the month is out. Brakes would be helpful, I guess. Bingster, I got all my chrome on e-bay. I doubt I spent 400 bucks and it's all pretty nice. Minor pitting, etc. but polished out, it's really nice. You have to get right on top of it to see the imperfections. That's fine with me. Going to a chrome shop would have broken the bank. I just couldn't do it. The "Special Deluxe" script you see in one of the pictures was about 20 bucks and new right out of the box. It's absolutely perfect. If you look around long enough, you will find what you need. I think e-bay is a great way to go for chrome.

Joe that is coming along really nice.

I do have a question on the radiator cap. Is that a pressure release on it? I didn't think yours would be set up as a pressurized system.

Chet,

I'll see if I can talk the Wifey into it. She probably would like to go. Are you going to be there? Also, we're going to be scouting out some neighborhoods around Philadelphia for places to live post-retirement. Since we'll be up in the Delaware area maybe we could cross paths. I'd like to see your car. We're thinking of a long weekend sometime in the next few weeks.

You are making progress! I dont know if I can say the same for Rodney. His thumb is still stuck in his ear:rolleyes:

Actually, in that picture of me and Rodney, I was showing him the second hand welder I got from forum member Tony Urwin. It looked like it wouldn't last a week, but it performed well over several years of hard, dirty work and some serious abuse from me. It's still going strong. Some of it is literally held together with duct tape, as you can see.

Tony is a good guy. I stopped by his house in Cincinnati driving my P-15 several years ago.

Sounds great I will send you a PM, Chet...
