I have what seems to be a rather substantial oil leak at the rear of my studebaker engine. I am thinking the rear main is tired from extensive sitting around.

I searched the iternets for seal restoration products and found severa but to my eye Barrs leak, and this one ATP AT250 reseal looked like the only two that did not rely on petroleum distillates to swell the rubber. That fix seems to work inthe short run but causes the swelled seal to wear more in the long run.

This suff supossidly uses suspended polymer links to form new sealing surfaces. Several consumer reviews attest to its efficacy.

I've never tried that brand but have used the Lucas brand power steering stop leak. It worked like a charm in my old jeep cherokee.
