49-52 plymouth sheetmetal?

Does anyone know if the front fenders, hood and grill from a '51-'52 Plymouth will bolt onto a '49-'50 body?

Ive seen it done a couple times but it looks funky.

It doesn't work right because the contour of the front edge of the doors is different. My '51 had a '50 nose when I got it and both doors had notches bent into them to clear the fenders so they could open.

Also the 49-50 has a higher radiator so not sure if the hood would clear
