Charlie Olson Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) This evening, I received the following link, from one of my on line Yahoo Chevy/GMC truck buddies. http://www.anythingaboutcars.com/1940scars.html (fourth page) I have not a clue how or why PLYWOOD was included in this website's article. Never the less, this photo was taken, the day after I brought PLYWOOD back to Seattle from Oregon; where I purchased it from The Wood Car Company. Edited May 9, 2011 by Charlie Olson Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 I dunno, but they do have a photo or that super rare Hudson Immaculate........... 1940 Hudson Immaculate 2-dr sedan Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 I bet that is a photo someone took and posted it on the internet somewhere. When writing web articles it is easy to go to Google Image and find pictures that would suit your article and that is probably what they did. It must feel pretty cool to see you car used in an article like that! Quote
greg g Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 I just did a oogle search for Plymouth woodies. Several pictures of vehicles pictured I recognized as photos I took and posted to the web. Once they are put on the web its pretty much like turning them out on the free range, that is any one can copy paste with no attribution unless you claim copy right restrictions. Quote

Upon further web searching, I discovered that that same photo was included in an article in the Seattle paper, in the auto section weekly column about people's collector cars. I submitted the article to the paper, but had moved away from Seattle, to AZ, when the article appeared; so I never knew it was published, until last night. Feels very gratifying. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 I believe if you look on Google (or some other browser) and put in some search like "Charlie Olson posts on P15-D24", you will get some or all of things you've posted. ........I think....... Quote
Charlie Olson Posted May 9, 2011 Author Report Posted May 9, 2011 Yeah, once it goes on the internet, it is there forever. Quote
