Niel Hoback Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Randroid, you called it at the beginning of this thread. Everyone feels the need to prove you were right on the money.
hkestes41 Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 They said the operation was based on intel from March. I'm just glad that the Wikileaks Arse didn't get ahold of those classified communications.

aero3113 Posted May 3, 2011 Author Report Posted May 3, 2011 How many people have died in Iraq and Afghanistan since the beginning of the War on Terror not to mention the number of people that have died or disappeared under suspicious circumstances these past 9 years or so?There is some pretty good evidence that bin Laden died nine years ago of natural causes. Yes, many have been killed since the war started but most of them were fighting for our country, they didn't deserve to be killed either but the victims of 9-11 were innocent people minding their own business not knowing what was going on. I am very frustrated that I am even having this conversation with you. Like Charlie said: "Why do some people complain about a thread like this; when all they have to do is not read it."
Flatie46 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 He had a good price on his head, reckon anybody will get the money? Was it 25millon?
Captain Neon Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Yes, many have been killed since the war started but most of them were fighting for our country, they didn't deserve to be killed either but the victims of 9-11 were innocent people minding their own business not knowing what was going on. I'm not talking about the soldiers that signed up to fight. I am talking about all of the Iraqi and Afghani civilians that have been killed as "collateral damage" while the US military engaged in "shock and awe." My uncle was in 'Nam; he's told me a small bit of what he did there, and the old Master Sergeants that retired after one tour in Iraq have told me that 'Nam was a civilised conflict in comparison to what is happening to civilians in Iraq. The WTC bombing, IMHO, is little different than the burning of The Reichstag. Sugar-coat and spin it all how you want, but this thread is political pure and simple. Cheering with glee at the death of any one makes us no different than the people you claim the US is fighting. Maybe worse. We sit here fat, happy, and comfortable while we invade two countries that never wanted our "help" in the first place.
