My wife, Cooper and I drove upstate to Chenago County to visit her 93 year old Father. He showed me his calendar with this photo of a grocery store in Sherburne taken during the '60's. With the two Plymouths I asked him if I could borrow the calendar to copy the photo. Went up to the town hall, got a copy, took the calender back to my Father-in-law.

Just thought you all might enjoy,

Bob

Bob,

That's a great history and those P-15s look every minute as though they're driven on roads.

The clock above the door caught my eye and it isn't hard to figure out the the picture was taken at 6:05, but did you notice that the only numerals on it are 10, 2, and 4? I think 1953 was when I had my first Dr. Pepper.

I believe the left one is a dodge. Fairly old cars at the time by the ford product to their left.

Ed,

I stand corrected. I didn't pay attention to the rear windows, or the length of the trim down the sides. Thanks for pointing that out because next time I'll bet I won't miss it. That also explains why the license plates are hanging at different angles.

I noticed the taillights. Now that you mention it the plates are different angles but I don't think they should be. The plymouth appears to have a significant dent in that area.

I noticed the bumpers. There was just a discussion about them recently, the way it warps around vs. the Plymouth.

That Ford is a 54 model, so the cars were up to 8 years or so old.

According to the caption at the bottom, this photo was taken sometime in the '60's, which is possible. My wife and I lived in Sherburne from 1977 until 1978, at that time there were two families that owned Model A's as their only mode of transportation and a lady that still drove her '56 Caddy as her daily driver.

I did notice the rocker moulding missing on the car on the right, but I didn't notice that one was a Dodge while the other was a Plymouth
