BobT-47P15 Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 In this case, I think you get a mess. Link to ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-GMC-Sonoma-1950-Plymouth-TRUCK-MOPAR-RAT-ROD-SWEET_W0QQitemZ200093236928QQcategoryZ6783QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 You could have spared us that.......is nothing sacred anymore...?? Look like getting that hood to lay flat and match the cowl is going to be a nightmare..fenders out to work in though. The passenger side hood pieceappears to be cut for possibly wedging in place. PatS.... Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Interesting concept, poor execution. I think maybe if he used the metal frame for the windsheild as well, that may have worked better. Quote
rearview Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 yikes. You can't even blame that one on incest Quote
Brad Lustig Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 I think you guys must have missed the rear fenders. They make the whole thing look 10 times better. Of course, 10 times better than a pile of crap is... Quote
JerseyHarold Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 Why would anyone waste their time trying to cobble this monstrosity together? This will give me nightmares! Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 Well guys, it's like the statement after those with the title "Senior Member" on the forum. However, this is someone who "truly" has "Way too much time on their hands", and that's why he did it. It does look like a mess, however, with someone with "way too much time on their hands" you could blend it all in and make it look good. The only troubling thing I noticed is possibly the steering column. Looks like it's hanging way too low. To get it up where it belongs one would have to cut an oval section out of the dash just above the column to get it positioned right. Thing is still a mess though. Quote
Allan Faust Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 They are just trying to do this.... or this..... Quote
