BeBop138
The Windsor had a small diameter front sway bar. The Saratoga had the 331 hemi, I would think they had a larger one. Does anybody have a parts book that would have that info.......Thanks.......Lee
Dodgeb4ya
Lee, I measured some of my sway bars. 1952 NewYorker-.750". 1950 Chrysler station wagon 6 cylinder-.750". 1950 T&C .760". 1952 plymouth .690", and a sway bar off a 51 Saratoga hemi car .690" I also went through the MoPar parts books and they show all 1949-52 dodge deSoto and Chrysler all take the same sway bar which I know is incorrect. Any 1950 up to 1952 Station wagon and any NewYorker /Imperial 8 cylinder inline "8" or Hemi car will have the heavier .750" heavy sway bar. Is yours the .690" bar? I have not measured mine but I am assuming it would be the .690---it looks small. I would like to go 1"---do think this is to big? Thanks for the info............Lee
Plymouthy Adams
if you plan to auto cross this puppy..then I see a need for a larger sway bar..I am running my donor sway bar .750 and with the big block v8 if I find this inadequate which I really do not expect, I have a brand new 1 1/4 race/auto cross version standing in the corner..(can we say overkill) Edited March 7, 2011 by Tim Adams
