Dennis_MN Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 (edited) I think thanks for the heads up about the Craigs list ad for Pilothouse parts. I was somewhat interested in the radio and the guy said that he bought it rebuilt from a fellow in Oregon but after he got it he decided to build a street rod and make the truck 12 Volts so the radio was no use to him. Since he was only about 50 miles from me I decided to run up today and buy it. Looks very nice and a whole lot better than the two previous ones that I have for parts. Of course my smart *** wife said that you can't hear the radio that you have in the truck now, what makes you think you can hear this one at 40 miles per hour? Guess she has a point. Any way the radio is now waiting for the truck to come out of storage. HANK, Screw it........I've given up on a damn 610-T and decided it'll be much easier and cheaper to just change out my doors,grill and dash board to the 48-50 style. I have a Model 602 and several Model 802's that have been on a shelf here for years. Quote
