claybill Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 i found that napa only goes back to about 1951 in their parts books. anything earlier than that doesnt compute...HOWEVER, since our motors are same/similar to the late 50's i generally ask for parts from 51 or 52 plymouth 218 motors. same stuff usually. and napa can comlpy. bill Quote

TodFitch Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Follow on to previous post (I could not figure out how to add attached image to existing post): For example, the Chrysler part number for the P14 and P15 "exhaust pipe flange gasket" is 679023. Alshere59 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) Hmm I get three results for my 1950 Plymouth at Napa online for exhaust gasket. Intake and exhaust, Exhaust flange and the gasket between the intake and exhaust. I have had to give them a part number of different year in the past. I wonder when there online catalog ends for years. Seems to be hit or miss on some items. Part number for the exhaust flange is FPG 60146. 1946 seems to be where they lose track on this part. Yes I was bored. Edited January 19, 2011 by Alshere59 Trivia info Quote
