RobertKB Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 That is a true survivor. Almost at the point where it needs lots of TLC if it is going to survive much longer. This URL will take you right to it. http://vancouverd.com/baddest-car-ever-drive-vancouver Quote
Charlie Olson Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) Hi all, I first saw this car and met it's rather very nice/eccentric owner, at a North West Woodies Get Together in July 2004, in Washington. He has driven this car all over Canada and the USA. His name is Tevie Smith and he is always on the road traveling with his very unusual T&C; Termite Taxi. I think I remember reading that he has slowed down a little, due to his age; not the car's. Here is a link to an interesting article about Tevie: http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/arts/story.html?id=02f306cd-5f68-4472-82d8-af9524003ec1 Also, I found a recent picture 2006 of his car at MoPar Madness. NOTE THE "LOOK AND TOUCH" SIGN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WINDOW. I also found a few FLICKR interior shots of Tevie's Termite Taxi; NO TO BE MISSED!!!!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/jmv/4868774739/in/photostream/ Edited January 12, 2011 by Charlie Olson Quote
