Labrauer Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Glad to hear that everyone got out of the house. I feel for you in this time of need just before Christmas. I hope God will bless this family in their time of need. Larry Brauer Quote
HanksB3B Posted December 24, 2010 Report Posted December 24, 2010 With nowhere else to go, maybe his sick Mother has no alternative than to check-in to the local hospital where by chance a leading cardiologist see's her and now she gets to live twenty additional years in good Health. By early summer next year the insurance policy pays off and the new house is ready to move into. Tragedy's come in all shapes and sizes and it's especially sad this time of year when thoughts should be on God's Grace in sending us Jesus and for at least one day out of the year we give from the heart and try to practice "Peace on Earth, Goodwill to mankind. A few of my friends have lost loved ones at this time of year and I can't forget Barbara telling me how as a child she watched in horror as her neighbors house consumed a family of seven. I don't take it for granted that I'm one of the lucky ones. I cried for what seemed like two months straight when Barbara left me for another. One day at a food bank for the homeless where I volunteered, a drunken man named Gabriel, a Mexican gardener told me this. "My wife and I and our 5 children were going back to Colorado to see our parents for Christmas. Just the day before we were going to leave, my boss called me and said I couldn't go. So I kissed my wife and kids goodbye before they got onto the plane and that was the last I ever saw them. If any of you remember back in the 80's a plane that crashed into the rockies that was the one. I remember pictures of the crash site the plane was so disintegrated, it just looked like someone scattered a bundle of Sunday papers all over the place. After hearing that story it was like I was instantly healed, I don't think I ever cried again. (not sure that's good). Sadly, two recent tragedies make me aware just how fragile and unpredictable life is. I will be especially grateful this year as I mature and come to the realization of how life can be so beautiful and so cruel. http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2010/12/22/couple-killed-on-way-to-plan-funerals-for-three-grandchildren/?iref=allsearch http://uk.reuters.com/news/video?videoId=169294218&feedType=VideoRSS&feedName=TopNews&videoChannel=1&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FUKVideoTopNews+%28Video+%2F+UK+%2F+Top+News%29&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher God Bless all the human race, let your peace and light shine in our hearts, remove the ignorance and hate we as men, have for others.
