Don Coatney Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 For those looking to do an engine swap this looks like a natural. 140 HP out of the box. http://www.engineswapdepot.com/?p=1582 Quote
Merle Coggins Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 It sounds pretty mean on the dyno. It would probably be pretty fun in the motorcycle it's being designed to go into. Merle Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 13, 2010 Author Report Posted December 13, 2010 You could build a motorcycle like this. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 That thing looks like it would handle about as good as a house. This one looks more fun. Quote

littlemo Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 You could build a motorcycle like this. Don, what can one say ??? Way too COOL !!! Quote
Don Coatney Posted December 27, 2010 Author Report Posted December 27, 2010 Don, what can one say ??? Way too COOL !!! Building one would be easier than finding the riders clothes to duplicate the picture. Quote
Tim Keith Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 I think it would be better as an inline four, but I suppose that would not fit in a motorcycle. I think a V4 could be a paint shaker. A boxer four as in the Subaru would be good with the LSX heads. I'd like to see a Chevy inline six with LSX heads. Quote
JoelOkie Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 You could build a motorcycle like this. All he needs is a trailer disguised as a caboose. Quote
Tim Keith Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 It would not be as rough as a big V twin. The LSX series is a great design. That compact motor could be fitted into many small vehicles, if the price is right. Quote
tinlizzy Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Well should not be a problem with steering being in the way. Motor cycles could qualify for crotch rockets. Old one looks more like a locomotive. Interesting reading anyway. Quote
hkestes41 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Would make a screaming clown car. Quote
Gary Manes Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Not enough torque. My New Yorker has 180 ft lb and the sixes are close behind. A little more torque and you would be right on for those wanting something with a little more pepp. It looks like it has promise, however. Let some of the hot rodding companies get ahold of one, and that may all change. Quote
