A week and a half ago at our antique tractor club meeting the President asked me what I had done with the Pontiac, I said that it was in the "Tent"/

He smiled and told me with a big smile that him and his Dad were going to going to stop and take it home one night after dark. I told him if he really wanted it, it was his, so this morning it left the "tent" and now is just about a mile from here with a new home.

Kinda hated to see it go, but with the upkeep on the Plymouth, another project wasn't needed and besides, it has gone to a good home.

Sometimes things just happen when you least expect it. Do you know what his plans for it are? Restore, rod, parts car? Maybe you need to get a tractor now, Bob, or do you already have one?

You can't save them all yourself. I take comfort out of pulling them out of the weeds and providing the opportunity for another hobbyist to put them on the road if it turns out that I don't have the time or resources. But a have saved a few (AMCs mostly). Joe

pacerman,

With a handle like that, did you ever own a Pacer?

We had a '75 Pacer for a couple of years, liked it very much..

RobertKB,

No tractors at this point. Grew up with a 1945 Farmall H and 1939 John Deere B, Kinda would like a 1947 Allis Chalmers with the narrow front end.
