1940plymouth Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 My Wife, Cooper and I were out and about in the Plymouth this morning and early afternoon Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Nice pictures, you're gettin kinda artsy there. All those trees and stuff distracts from the views of Cooper. Quote
carls 49 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 beautiful time of the year, thanks. Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Posted October 18, 2010 Cooper and I just got back from going for a ride in the Plymouth, here are some photos, nothing spectacular, but you'll see the leaves and the lack of leaves on some of the trees. Hard frost here this morning, but a nice day to put some miles on the "WayBack Machine" along with my "GPS" unit. Life is good, hope everyone is having as much fun as I am today, Bob Quote
busycoupe Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Nice pictures Bob! It is a beautiful day, I just took an hour long motorcycle ride. Beautiful sky and foliage. Cooper looks like he really enjoys having his picture taken. What a ham! Dave Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Just nosey, Bob, but where did you find Cooper? How did he come to live with you? Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 18, 2010 Author Report Posted October 18, 2010 A woman my wife worked with at school had the mother and puppies dropped off at her house, because the original owner wasn't able to take care of them, so we took one of the puppies for a nominal fee. It will be two years on Nov 4 that we got him, it has been a very enjoyable two years, as you can tell. His ears weren't docked and his tail wasn't cut, which thankfully we are very pleased. He is a pureabred, but we never filled out the papers as we don't plan on showing him, plus we had him fixed when he was six months old Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Thanks, Bob. its nice to know a little more about him besides his being a big ham. Perhaps the forum needs a "traveling partner mascot". Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 19, 2010 Author Report Posted October 19, 2010 Niel, I was dead set against getting him, but finally gave in, which I have never regreted. I love that little "GPS" unit more than I figured I ever would. At the time we got him I was retired and my wife still working, so I became the caregiver for him, and if I move, he moves. If I happen to go for a walk during the day, he will go to the couch in the living room to look out the window while I walk out the dooryard. I work part time for the town of Neversink, when I get home, he is all over me like I have been gone for months. He loves to go for rides and it doesn't matter what vehicle I take, but I like to think he prefers the Plymouth:D He is just a precious little being that is LOVED very much Quote
LAKOTA169 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Bob, I'm glad you gave in, and I'm very sure Cooper is too. There's something about a pet that makes things seem good. I'd be lost without my Buster. Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 19, 2010 Author Report Posted October 19, 2010 Buster is one fine looking friend, thanks for sharing Quote
P-12 Tommy Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Since were on the subject, here's my buddy. A Portuguese water dog named Patty. Tom Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 20, 2010 Author Report Posted October 20, 2010 Tommy, Patty is a fine looking friend Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Patty looks happy. The name fits, too, she looks like a "Patty". Quote
Niel Hoback Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Sorry, I thought of that just as I hit the enter key. Guess I should have taken a better look at that picture! Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 21, 2010 Author Report Posted October 21, 2010 We just got back from going for a ride in the Plymouth up in the mountains. The church dates back to 1848, then the chimney in the background of one of the photos is what is left of a tannery that made leather goods for the Union troops during the Civil War. It closed in 1879. Also you can see by the one photo thru the windsheild the high rocks on the passenger side on one road we took. Just a decent afternoon to enjoy the "WayBack Machine" Hope you all enjoy, Bob Quote
Jim Yergin Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Very nice Bob. Thanks for posting. I am envious. Jim Yergin Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 21, 2010 Author Report Posted October 21, 2010 Hang in there Jim, before you know, you will be adding many miles to the Woodie. That is one great looking wagon you have. Quote
