At the RCR Museum in Welcome, NC, they had a cruise in. Was surprised when I saw this pulling in.

Best looking one I've seen in person - well, really the only other one I've ever seen in person.

Owner was really cool. He bought the truck 30 years ago. Had it repainted about 9 years ago. He has 2 other parts trucks out in his backyard. Says they are rough, but he got them years ago in case he needs anything off them.

I like how the interior came out. Panels are from Roberts, but he had a local guy install them. I'll have to call that guy when I'm ready to do mine.

Very nice...I like how the firewall was just cleaned off, something I plan on doing for a couple of reasons: the original firewall paint on my '48 & '49 is almost flawless, and both have grease pencil marks in roughly the same area, presumably quality control approvals from the factory.

Wonder how he put that resister on side of oil filter. Surely he didn't drill a hole for screw.

looks like a band around the filter and the resister fastened to it.

there's a bolt in the oil filter housing clamp; he probably fab'd a mounting tab from some sheet metal and used that bolt to mount the resistor. I dunno why the coil clamp wasn't used, as there is a provision on it for this purpose.
