BobT-47P15
I don't know what paint number they used......I simply used Por 20 hi temp aluminum made by the POR 15 company......applied with a brush. Has held up pretty well for me. Had used assorted brand spray cans in the past, but like the brush results better.

greg g
You can usually pick up the replaceable cartidge type off e bay or at seap meets. They were pretty much interchangable with the proper mounting bracket and plumbing. If you search there is a thread featuring about 15 of the 20 types that were mounted on these vehicles. I psoted the thread last year about this time or a bit later. So when you do the search, you can put my screen name and that time peramiter in the search filters. This would fill the bill nicely. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fram-Oil-Filter-Canister-old-Car-rat-rod-Truck-Tractor-/160484495924?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item255d9f1234
