DenverDude2002 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Just wanted to say hello to everyone in the forum, newbie here from Colorado. Me and my dad just hauled home a 1949 Dodge B1B-108 that's needs a full restoration. We did one back about 12 yrs ago, and got the urge to do another one being that I'm a lot older and know a lot more and can actually help out this time. Looking to keep it as original as we can, has the correct T142 Engine, so hopefully we can get it goin. Going to try to do some research and see if i can find out its history, it has an interesting 2 tone red/blue interior painted (i think the outside was orig blue, hopefully figure it out once we get some of the house paint off) and has a mopar spotlight as well. I'm pretty trigger happy with the digital camera so I'll be getting a million pics during the restoration process.Heres a picture of her as it she is now, hoping someday it'll look close to brand new. Glad to see theres others who are restoring these to. Like i tell people, the Fords and Chevy are cool, but the dodges are so unique and rare its more fun to restore. Quote
