steveplym Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Been trying to find a steering wheel cover for my P-15 like the one pictured below. Haven't had much luck yet. Anyone know of a place to find these? I think there may be some on ebay, but I was trying to avoid an ebay purchase is possible. The car had one like this on it years ago, but rotted out due to age and I had to remove it. Quote
Mark Haymond Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Go to a store that caters to trucks. The truck steering wheels are larger than the smaller ones seen on modern cars. Quote
james49ply Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 looks like a common wheel cover from most parts stors, pleather or like, cheap, but do the job. auto-zone, discount, advance, pep boys, etc. Quote
randroid Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Steve, I've found them in regular auto parts houses. Going along with what Mark said, our wheels are 18.5" and the largest covers I've seen are 18", but they will stretch to fit if you play with them a little. -Randy Quote
steveplym Posted August 5, 2010 Author Report Posted August 5, 2010 Thanks for the info guys. I was in autozone last night and didn't see any like this. Maybe I need to check around at some of the larger stores. Wal-mart didn't have any either. Thanks for the steering wheel size Randy. I forgot what size it was and it is too hot to go out to the garage and measure. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Steve - any swap meets coming up in your area? Sometimes see such things there. Quote
Tony_Urwin Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Wheelskins makes leather ones in any size you request, but they are pricey, about $50. Quote

steveplym Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 Thanks guys. I'm going to keep my eye out. Bob, nothing big coming up real soon, but Frog Follies in Evansville, IN is coming up at the end of this month and they usually have a big swap meet. So I might find something there. Have to keep my eye out I guess. Quote
