Bob_Koch Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 First time I've seen chromed runnning boards. Wondering what he used for the rear bumper? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120595347948&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT Quote
HanksB3B Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Is this the first first or the second first? Hank Quote
Bob_Koch Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 Yea, I ended up with a double entry. Tried to delete the "first" one and can't seem to do it. sorry. Quote
pflaming Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I like the look but to my taste a chrome grill, and luxury rings would have really set it off. Quote
John-T-53 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 With the black paint scheme, I can see why he chromed what he did. If the bumpers and running boards were black too, it would be very monotone and prone to invisibility on the road. Still, I can't say I'm a fan of the chrome running boards, and I'll bet they cost a pretty penny to have done. The grill would have been a better place to put chrome, I agree. Quote
