Hey, all just gota call from Aero, he has landed safely at James Richardson Airport(YWG), via Minneapolis Mn.

I hope to meet up with Aero tonight or tomorrow morning, the lousy part it's gonna rain, and my road is a quagmire of filth, so the 47 stays home in that case.

Will post pics, and hopefully Aero will add to the thread, he will be in the "Peg", until Thursday morning, but He is also going fishing to Crowduck Lake Lodge, lucky guy, Bronzebacks,Walleyes, and Northern Pikes......

Hope you guys get some time to chew the fat, I know walleyes and Northerns, but what is a bronze back??

Smallmouth Bass, and some real nice ones up here.....

Just got settled in the hotel (Very Nice). Fred, I left you a voice mail. I know you said you have some things to do with your son, give me a buzz when you have time.

Just got back from a couple of hours with Rockwood. He took me for a spin in the 47 and it drove GREAT! The paint job looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures. When he was driving me back to the hotel we almost hit a deer:eek:. Fred, I am glad we were able to get together today. If you ever make it over to the east coast let me know. Fred will post some pics of us when he gets a chance. I would never have thought I would get to see his car in person,It was a great day :D

Hey all, it was great to meetup with Aero in the "Peg", we then took the cruise back out to the Farm, where the old girl was ion her stable.

I wished it would have been more daylight, so we could have had a longer cruise, and get together.

The 47 performed as per normal, hey the lights work good, and the speedo still changes color.

Keith it was great meeting you, and if and when I am in the Big Apple, hope to get together again........Fred

Greg, I totally agree, I was telling Aero, it is sometimes not so fun being the only known P15 D24 member around here. There is not a big 40s ,50s Flat Head Mopar following eihter. We do have Lanny Knutson POC Editor living in Winnipeg.......

Great that you guys got together. I used to crab a lot about the internet but it makes things like this possible.

Fred, your garage is entirely too neat and clean. I have serious envy. The car looks beautiful. Good thing you missed the deer.

Sounds like another successful visitation..........

In that last picture Fred, it looks like you almost hit your head

on the ceiling. (Just the angle of the shot.):D

Hey Joe, the garage is something I like to have neat and organized if possible, but it could be better.

Thanx for the compliment on the car, I drove Aero back to the city in my Van, but we avoided the deer, it isa very bad 10 mile stretch of highway where so many people hit deer.........Fred

I hate deer. The time has come for a severe culling of the herd. I think we should have a year long open season in Northern Missouri with night hunting and 75 round magasines.

Glad you guys got together...too bad it was lousy weather. Hey Fred, you should open up a Bed and Breakfast...might do well out there!!!

Happy Trails to both of you.

Just got back home from Winnipeg. Even though this was a business trip it felt like a vacation :D. We has such a great time fishing. The lake was about a 2 hour drive from the hotel. Our boat only caught a total of 6 fish (I caught 4),some had over 30 . Below are some pics of the fishing trip. The last pics I think you guys are really going to like. We were about to get on the boats to go to the mainland, then one of the guys that was on the trip was calling for me to go and look at something he saw. We ran back up the trail and there she was. I snapped some shots as quickly as I could (because the boats were leaving) wish I had more time to study it. We ran back down the trail and the boats were already off the dock heading back:eek: We yelled and one boat turned around,LoL. What a way to end the trip,it was GREAT! Thanks again Rockwood for taking the time to meet up with me.
