I don't know how they can call this a '53. This is the '54-55 "C" style. Interesting front end.

Headlights with the inboard edges more rounded would be better, but these are OK.

The nose looks like "C" series, but the doors look like 48-50 Pilot-House.

It's a 54. You can tell by the one year only windshield.

It is either a 54 or a 1st series 55. It's not a bad looking job, but like others, it's not to my taste, in many ways. I would love to find an original 54 model that was driveable, but it's a needle in a haystack as a single year truck. My favorite of course. It has all the style and lines of the earlier trucks, but it's smoother and cleaner in a later style way. I liked everything about the 54 C series trucks.

just proves that Dodge's present designers have nothing to go on but proven old designs. fire them all...AND the guys at Ford and Chevy too for that matter; nothing original from any of them. modern trucks need a periscope for the driver to see the ground in front of him.
