Linclon Land Plymouth (POC) had a workday on my 47, Adjusted the rear brakes with the right factory tools, we are ready for some mountain climbing. Hooked up the OD, must say with the 16 inch radials, 372 gears (Dodge Rear end with bigger brakes) and the engine modification work, When we get up to speed on the Highway, cruising at 65 is nothing, smooth, quite and no vibrations (thanks to Bob for the new wheels and for George ASche for truing them). Installed my rebuilt speedo, trim pieices back on had a two spots that need to be repainted (then we wet sanded and buffed the car again), had my wheels striped, ordered the right wire hose clamps, found a guy to help build a trailer hitch (custom car builder I met). The list is getting shorter. So far the plans are to leave ST. Louis on June 10 and meet people in Greeley Co the night of June 11 (Cliff will have to catch up) June 12 Laramie Wy, June 13 & 14 Grand Tetons, June 15 Caldwell Idaho, June 16 arrive at that night at the meet. Still trying to figure out the return trip. Thinking about taking a few more days off, head do the Oregon Coast then over to Salt Lake , Denver, KC and then St. Louis

Unfortunally I will not be making the westward treck. My job and retirement date has been extended until near the end of June.:(

Too bad Don, was looking forward to a visit... Not sure if I'm going either, but likely not... Looks like the route is going to bypass the Idaho Rockies anyway...

Actually Pete the job extension is to my benefit. I get to work a few extra weeks with all the benefits. Once my work project is complete I will be in the same boat as you. Learning how to keep the boat from sinking in the constant turbulance with a life jacket just out of reach. I hope your boat is still afloat and you can see the beam from the lighthouse. I am sure that after a while hot dogs begin to taste like steak.:o

Not sure about the tube steaks, but mac-n-cheeze with a diced tomato has become "pasta primavera" at my house...

The bulb is still burned out in the light house, I hope it gets fixed soon...

Sounds like you have been busy Mark. Hope you have an uneventful trip. I'm hoping to take a few short trips this summer. Hope to get up your way eventually.
