It's back!!

Our club, Iron Lords, hosted this party last year during the Charlotte Auto Fair and it was great. So we decided it was a good idea to host another.

I will be at the Lone Star Round up again this year. It was good to see you and your car here last year. I am not up to a drive of that distance right now to attend your event, wish I was. It would be nice to take another long road trip in the old flat head Plymouth.

Ron..not sure but probably stay onground in the green field Thursday night..Thursday evening my bud who sponsors me with ticket in and I go to the local Golden Coral..Friday I amback at the track seeing if I can abscound with a deal or two and then its on the road again..shop tour sounds like loads of fun..I always enjoy works in progress over about any finished car..is the HAMB having a booth near the curve in the blue field again this year and are you going to be there Thursday/Friday?

Wife and I dd a first today..she and I set up at a local swap meet 8 miles from the house..for a first ever event I was amazed at the attendance by venders and spectators..can't wait to see the gate tomorrow..I did rather well both buying and selling..Studebakers and Mopars well represented..uncommon for most shows...I think momma even had a bit of fun...she was amazed at the stuff and how well-mannered the folks was..she expected rowdys I guess...she may see them tomorrow..(non-work day)

for me the "auto fair" is over..shagged out at about 2 PM today..pegged my fun meter and spent all my money...lol I did have a good time..did find some stuff again..e-bay is nice but holds no candle to a good swap meet...being there is half the fun..

I think they said approx 3500 vender spaces rented...wall to wall parts and plus..

The place was packed by early afternoon Friday....I can just imagine what it was like this Saturday..
