faucet47custom Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Guys, I have spent the last two months reading threads and getting ideas for my D24 custom sedan, my first resto project, hopefully first of many to come. I wanted everyone to know how great it is to see that amount of ideas and encouragement that is exchanged on this forum. I have seen where people frown on you for having an original idea or not being stuck to a factory rebuild. I am setting a goal of having my car on the road and completed in a year from today. Consider it my 30th birthday present to myself. Thanks again to everyone who has inspired my rebuild of what I think is a beautiful automobile. Please keep the ideas and suggestions coming, I am still open for improvements. Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 ok big guy..got that marked on my calander..want to see progress report and pictures..I envy the fact you to have that much time to dedicate to the project..it is not an impossible task, depends on the overall condition of the vehicle..I have turned them in 6 months to include engine and tranny overhauls, interior, body and paint and reassemble with new rubber..that is steady getting it considering working 5 days a week for the man..very little welding needed be done on that car..plus the car was not super large model either...
