aero3113 Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 What are the two protruding half round things on the back half of the intake manifold. I have also seen intake manifolds with them drilled and tapped on the front side of them. Here is a pic of my intake manifold. Quote
Andydodge Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Those little bumps are what the RHD accelerator linkage mounts and pivots on...........andyd Quote

David Strieb Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Both my '38 dodge pu and my '36 chrysler have the accelator linkage running from the pedal across the firewall (on the engine side), then to the carb, those tabs are the attachment point for the linkage from the firewall. On my '40 plymouth the linkage went across the top of the head to the carb, simular to the p15 setup. Quote
Andydodge Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 This is the only engine pic I have from my P11 coupe...........don't think it helps much......andyd Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Here's my '35... They are used to mount my throttle linkage..... Quote
