jpwuertz Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 I just used spray aluminum paint on my center piece and then hand painted the 'Job Rated' in red. It looks pretty good. Quote
4852dodge Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 I did the same thing 20 years ago and it has held up quite well. When freshly painted it almost looked chromed. Quote
Fernando Mendes Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 I used last year spray chrome. Quote

I have used it for several underhood things on old rigs and it is a great matte color. Quote
BulldogTom Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 I am doing something similar right now. Using Rustoleum rattle can on the grill bars. But we are going to paint the medalion red and use model chrome paint on the "job rated" and the lines. The chrome paint from the rattle can on the grill bars looks great. The medalion is not done yet. I will post a picture when I finish it. Quote
