My parents gave me some gifts for my truck for Christmas. They purchased me the rubber for the rear windows from Pat Walsh. I have searched the forum and I don't see anything about his products. The rubber came in lengths that need to be cut to fit and then he says to glue the ends with super glue. How difficult a job is it to get the ends connected well?

Hmm seems no one is going to respond to this post. I called Pat and talked to him about the window seal, and told him Steele had the vulcanized 3 piece window rubber. So he let me return what my parents ordered from him and I ordered the rubber from steele. I got the brake pedals, cowel vent gasket, and cowel vent tube from pat and they seem really well made.

I don't have a lot of answers for you concerning Pat Walsh. The ends aren't that hard to get connected as long as both ends are cut square. I prefer to use a single edge razor instead od a razor knife, gives me more control. You'll only have one shot at it with super glue. I prefer using black weatherstrip which gives me a little more working time to get everything lined up.

Can you share address for Pat Walsh as a possible vendor source?

I think he has a new mailing address though. I had good luck with emailing him and asking him for his catalog. He has tons of stuff for Dodge B models, including floor mats. I also called him on the phone. I will warn you he likes to talk alot about politics and religion. Makes for interesting phone calls :o)

He seems like a nice man. He was understanding when I explained I thought the vulcanized window rubber would work better for me. The material seemed nice quaility.

Well I bet he is really abuzz with hometown politics now. Wakefield, Ma is the home of Downtown Scotty Brown, the new Massachusetts state senator just elected to Kennedy's seat.
