RobertKB Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Just a short update on my manifold project for what it's worth. While waiting for the heat riser kit and getting my manifolds resurfaced (milled), I have just been doing general clean-up on the area. Pictures show the area just after removal of the manifolds and the same area after clean-up. This old girl is getting more attention right now than she has had in years! Quote
greg g Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Cleans up real nice. Keep at it. Quote
aero3113 Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Looks GREAT, When was the last time you had the oil pan off? While you are waiting you can pull it off, clean out the sludge and give it a fresh coat of paint. It will give you some piece of mind knowing how things look in there. The oil pan Gaskets are cheap at www.rockauto.com Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Looks good, Robert. The ol coupe gonna look real purty when you get done. Quote

I could clean the pan up inside and outside that way. Looks good, Robert. The ol coupe gonna look real purty when you get done. I hope to have her ready for a big car show in July. I have others I could take but I kind of want to take this one. She goes back to the painter for a repaint of the repaint in a couple of weeks to deal with some paint issues from the first time. Joe Flanagan Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 That's about as clean as it gets. Nice work, Robert. Quote
