Young Ed Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 but somehow knows its worth $29.00 to $50.00. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VINTAGE-ORIGINAL-CHROME-ENAMEL-PLYMOUTH-EMBLEM_W0QQitemZ180434734107QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item2a02bf8c1b Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 Well Ed.........you have to look at the source. A dumpster diver probably wouldn't know what it fits. But.........it looks old, so he's just-a-figgerin it's worth that much at least. Quote
Young Ed Posted November 19, 2009 Author Report Posted November 19, 2009 I'll take 49 for mine if someone needs one. I'll throw in the dash piece its attached to Quote
RobertKB Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 I don't think his price is unreasonable. If you want or need that piece the kind of money he is asking is not bad, especially if you bid $29 and are the only bidder. They are not making this stuff anymore and try and find one when you want it. I have sold a lot of stuff on ebay lately and it is amazing what some of it goes for. I sold the chrome radio grille from my '48 parts car to someone in North Carolina for well north of a $100 and there were several bidders on it. Ed, don't give your stuff away. Quote
Young Ed Posted November 20, 2009 Author Report Posted November 20, 2009 Robert I know stuff is works what it gets bid to. Just strikes me as funny that he has no clue what the part is but knows its worth at least $29. If you have no idea what it is I would think it makes more sense to start it out cheap and take what you can get for it. As for my stuff I've been liquidating on ebay lately myself. Quote
RobertKB Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Ed, but he does know it is old and likely hard to find. Ebay for me has been picking up lately as a while ago it was hard to sell anything. I guess those that have jobs and feel secure and starting to spend again?? I find just about anything from the P15's and D25's sell pretty well so there must be a demand for it out there. I sold a bunch of trim to a fellow in New Zealand who said he just cannot find anything over there. Quote
