1949P17BC Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Just completed putting in the 12v wiper motor/conversion from Newport. MONEY well spent. easy fit, instructions and wipers work like a champ. One more thing crossed off my list for the "Plymouths to Portland " trip next June. Quote
steveplym Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Thanks for the info Mark. I plan on ordering that for my P-15 over the winter. Wondered how well they worked in our cars. I don't drive much in the rain, but when I do it can be a chore. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 I just spent most of the day driving from the Boro to St Louis in a heavy rain. Did not drive my P-15 on this trip. You St Louie folks need good wipers for sure:cool: Quote
greg g Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 You gonna look Mark up??? Maybe he'll give you a ride in his new car. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 You gonna look Mark up??? Maybe he'll give you a ride in his new car. If I work real hard I might get a couple of hours off next weekend to do so. Ride hell, I want to drive it. Quote
steveplym Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Did you come up I-24 to I-64 Don? If so I was all over that area today. I've been traveling in rain for two days now. I always like working in the field until days like today. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 I-24 to I-57 to I-64 to I 40 Spotted a early 50's very rusty Hudson on a trailer and a Yellow freshly painted Dodge Power wagon on a trailer both heading the opposite direction I was heading. Quote

hkestes41 Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Thanks for the info Mark. I plan on ordering that for my P-15 over the winter. Wondered how well they worked in our cars. I don't drive much in the rain, but when I do it can be a chore. I put one in my daily driver 48 Plymouth coupe about 18 months ago and have to say it was money well spent. Spent less than an hour on the install. You can't use the stock radio with the Newport wiper motor in place. So if that is a concern for you might want to consider rebuilding the vacumn wipers. Quote
