BobT-47P15 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 .......at the Springfield, MO swap meet. Clay Diggs was there, from Arkansas. He owns a P15 coupe and a pilot house pickup. Had talked on the phone with Clay, but had not previously met him. I'm the short guy on the left. Then, we met Phil Martin from Illinois......who owns a 1950 Dodge sedan. That's Phil on the left. It was certainly nice meeting both you gentlemen. On Friday night, at the HAMB Drags doings in Joplin, I met Kirk Estes, from Dallas, owner of a 48 P15 coupe. He, of course, would be the tall fellow on the right. A pleasure making your acquaintence, Kirk. Also got a hug from Denise, "Your Topless Cruisin' Buddy" on the HAMB (owner of a 47 Olds convert known as 'Big Olds' ). Quote

steveplym Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 I met Clay down in Arkansas in May. Really enjoyed his company. I couldn't get him to pose for a picture with me though. Hope to meet you someday too Bob. Missed you in July. I'm sure we'll cross paths someday. Quote
clay diggs Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 I really enjoyed meeting y'all, just wish I had had more time to spend talking to you. Thank you Bob and Don for posting the pictures. Both Don and Bob have posted pictures for me in the past. Someday, I will learn. I also enjoyed the swap meet. We had perfect weather for August, nice and cool with a breeze. Hope to go back next year. Clay Quote
