BobT-47P15 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 Neil Riddle, who goes by Seaplym on ebay, has those books, I believe. He sells them along in his auctions. You might contact him thru his ebay ad. Use "ask the seller a question". Quote

claybill Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 hey robin and mando......on that list it states that the vac assist pwermatic trans was for handicapped returning soldiers.....but it was only used in '41/'42 before any soldiers returned.! somebody goofed, if it was a good idea it was discontinued real soon. at first i was quite impressed to read that an auto company was concerned over our handicapped folks in U>S>.. checking the dates...it doesnt add up.. bill Quote

Lee Exline Posted August 23, 2009 Report Posted August 23, 2009 Hey Mando, There's a list on this website at: http://www40.addr.com/~merc583/mopar/framesets/optionsframeset.html Hope this helps. Robin. That list is missing an item. the super rare MoPar Compass It mentions the electric locking gas cap that was a 49-54 accessory but could have been added by any dealer even on exsising stock during the switch over to the new models. Another favorite of mine is the Fire Extinguisher The fire extinguisher was a late addition and is more a 49-54 accessory but a darned cool one. like the razor Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 A lot of those accessories are listed in the parts and/or repair manuals also. Quote

David Maxwell Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Hi, years ago I scanned a complete accessories brochure and sent it to Gerald in PDF format. He has made that available under the "Downloads" tab on this site. Go to the main page, choose dowloads and you will see the link to the brochure.
