dodgeLL41 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Do you need to flash or polarize a generator after a rebuild? If So how do you do it? This is on a 41 Dodge , 6 volt, positive ground, stock system. Thanks for any advice Quote
randroid Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 dodgeLL41, There was a thread here in the last weeks or so about it. Search 'polarizing'. -Randy Quote
Captain Neon Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 How does standing in front of my generator wearing a trench coat make it work better? :p:rolleyes: Quote

adam_knox Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 Last summer I was driving the Chrysler on the freeway and some ladies drove next to me and wrote "honk 4 boobs" on paper. Unfortunately my horn went out earlier that week. I did the polite thing and pressed the horn button (as to not offend them for their generous offer!), but of course no sound came out. They laughed and did a rather courteous flash! For a moment I was like Clark Griswald in his Wagon Queen Family Truckster! Quote
