I know there have been a few cars buried like this, all around that same time period. Anyone know if this is the first one to be pulled up?

Pretty sure it was the Silhouette or the Red Hot Heap. Sure hope those little wire axles aren't too bent out of shape. I'd love to give it a run through my old Hot Wheel City!

David..talk about a flashback..I purposedly buried a couple Hotwheels when I was a youngster..now I wonder if they are still there..them things be nigh onto 45 years old.

...which included some Hot Wheels among other things. My old school was completely demolished and replaced with a newer school about 10 years ago. I wonder what happened to the timecapsule and if those Hot Wheels will be in a similar condition to the Belvedere? I seem to remember our teacher actually used one of those official brass timecapsules they used to use back then.
