I went on Saturday and I did see that same Pilothouse in front of the Grandstand. The speedodometer had a new face on it and it now says 0 to 140.

The crowd on Saturday afternoon was similar to the state fair.

I was at the BTT 50's for about four hours on Sat AM and never saw one pilot house truck. But then again four hours is not nearly enough time to see it all.

I heard over 12,000 vehicles and over 125,000 people for the weekend. Makes the Hastings car show look a little small.

I was only at BTT 50's on Friday and this is the only Pilot House I saw. Any idea what motor would that be?

Dan

It's a 318 or 360 fuel injected from a Dakota or a Ram. 360's were in the Ram only I believe.

This is the first time I have seen the rear fenders painted black with the running board and with black wheels. I like the look. Nice maroon color.

I was there all three days with my '48 1 ton, and was parked about 50 yards from the purple one. 7am to 8 pm Fri, 7am to 10:30pm Sat and 7:30am to about 3:30pm Sunday and still didn't see all the cars. This is a great show, every car imaginable. I have met the previous owner of my truck each year now for the last 5 years. One of my buddy's met the previous owner of his '56 Buick Special this year. You get to meet new friends and talk cars all weekend. I met another Pilot house owner from Florida and told him about this site, hopefully he will check in.

My boys (16 and 14) love this show and already can't wait for next year.
