Norm, maybe he wants everyone to know that's a NEW spare.......

"See how deep my pockets are!"

One of the reasons that I despise being in car shows, trophy-hunters.

It wasn't that long ago that a car like mine (not perfect) was enjoyed and appreciated at a POC meet. Now, so many people are into winning a trophy, and the rest are part of a clicque that always get together for the meets that it's just not any fun.

Reminds me of my time involved in party politics. *Bleech*

i'll preserve every single maintainance sticker and 50s-diner-coupon i found on my rusty beauty.

MY pockets are sort of sewed close, though:rolleyes:

...i don't get these better-than-new-in-a-color-soooo-typical-for-its-era-restored cars, anyway. don't even smell old anymore. not my can of beer.

restorations...??? i gotta take my hat off to the Bartz family. vicki and ken worked hard on their 40 coupe, ken taught himself woodgraining for the dash and vicki measured and sewed all the seatcovers and side panel material for the coupe....ken has said several times that whitewalls , although they would look sharp, just didnt come with a p-9 bus. coupe.!

now thats what i call a restoration that you can really appreciate!!
