BobT-47P15 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 I like the matched set of luggage. Wonder if the VanBuskirks ever found their pink set for the wagon. Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Norm, maybe he wants everyone to know that's a NEW spare....... Quote
Charlie Olson Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 In every high dollar tri-five Chevy restored to original, the spare tire has the manufacturer sticker on it; in addition to the jack instructions sticker on the side of the trunk wall. Quote
Captain Neon Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Norm, maybe he wants everyone to know that's a NEW spare....... "See how deep my pockets are!" One of the reasons that I despise being in car shows, trophy-hunters. It wasn't that long ago that a car like mine (not perfect) was enjoyed and appreciated at a POC meet. Now, so many people are into winning a trophy, and the rest are part of a clicque that always get together for the meets that it's just not any fun. Reminds me of my time involved in party politics. *Bleech* Quote
Cpt.Fred Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 i'll preserve every single maintainance sticker and 50s-diner-coupon i found on my rusty beauty. MY pockets are sort of sewed close, though:rolleyes: ...i don't get these better-than-new-in-a-color-soooo-typical-for-its-era-restored cars, anyway. don't even smell old anymore. not my can of beer.
