OLD DODGE Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 If you have too much money in your wallet and are in need of a grill guard for your truck there is one on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/1948-1949-1950-1951-1952-1953-Dodge-Fargo-Truck-GRILLE_W0QQitemZ110392981506QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item19b3ef3802&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A8%7C294%3A50 Quote
woodscavenger Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 How does it look on the truck? I've never seen a pic of one. Quote
Aaron Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 Here's what a different style looks like. This is original to the truck. Aaron Quote
OLD DODGE Posted May 22, 2009 Author Report Posted May 22, 2009 Here is the '49 version of Reg's page plus I added a couple of accessories pages showing a "spike" version and also a coal truck picture showing another style. The accessories pages show the fog lights that go along with the grill guard. The elusive radio is also pictured. It looks like the mounting hardware kit is still wrapped up and tied to the grill guard on ebay. If anyone is interested in it they should make the seller an offer through the "ask seller a question" link. I have done this before on high priced items and worked out better deals. http://s682.photobucket.com/albums/vv183/DODGETRUCK/1950%20ACCESSORIES/ Quote
pflaming Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 (edited) Is this the radio? I think it says "Motorrola! HMMMMM! Edited June 6, 2017 by pflaming Quote
Reg Evans Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Those radios are plentiful made by Mopar. Usually several for sale at once on eBay. The Motorola radio is an after market item. Don't bust your knuckles over that one. Quote
pflaming Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Sorta figured that when I counted six buttons! Quote
