Made a deal with Kuster (tom). since he needs my long box and I need a short box, if he would bid on the short box on e bay that is in Washington, I would trade the ebay short box for my long box. it worked, we won and we both get what we need. I just need to go pick it up now. ebay item 300310056280

This deal put me in a good mood for the rest of the work day. I was still smiling when the dump truck dropped off the 12 yards of roadbase that was suppose to be top soil for the gardens. I still can't find my shovel....

well, it's all set up to leave in the morning to go to eastern Washington to get the short bed. I can't believe how giddy I am. I'm more excited than when we left for Disneyland a couple weeks ago. Can't wait for tomorrow. I will update after getting it home......... steady, Tom, I can hear you breathing hard from here....... Bud

I am also looking for a B3B low bed to pull behind my B3B low bed truck. Preferably already converted to trailer and similar to Bud's bartered trailer below, only low boy.

got the shortbed and trailer back home. Very nice and virtually rust free. I am suprised at the differences in the beds. This one is obviously shorter (12 inches), but also narrower too. I did not realize it would be, but still works well for my application. Tom will be a happy camper with my bed for sure. Bud

I am already happy and I haven't even seen the box yet. I am looking forward to meeting up with Bud again and getting a first hand look at his truck.

If I can't make arrangements before the end of May, I will have to wait until my passport shows up. Having trouble organizing a truck to haul back the box. It will work out.

too bad you live so far away, I am getting ready to pull the bed off the frame and don't need the frame or the stock rear end. You would only need the box then.

Thanks, yes too far, or I would have offered you my bed off my B3C parts truck. In a couple of years when my B3B frame-off is done I will be ready to part with what's left of the B3C.
