Don't much like it. Much prefer a '55 Chev stock looking. This one is way too tricked out for me and the front end is trying to look like a '58 Ford. Never was a big Barris fan to begin with. Just call me Mr. Grumpy Pants 'cause I like 'em stock!

Dennis' photo is great. I can see the Barris look, and I guess as a vintage almost historic custom I'm glad someone preserved it. Paint is beautiful. Having once owned a 55 Belair 2 door hardtop, I'd rather see it stock bodied.

I think I'll use the tee shirt for polishing cloths.:D

I think that car was brand new when it went under the knife. This type and worse was very popular in the 50' and 60's.

Some were well done, but most, like this one, were pretty gaudy.

Some of the chopped and channelled Mercs were beautiful. I liked the R&C Chevy pick-up as well.

That's what I do with all T Shirts that have pictures or writing on them.

Now, Norm(speed), there may be some ebayer just searching for that vintage kustom kar T shirt from the 50s. Might be worth a couple bucks.

Those full custom cars from the era were pretty futuristic and far out. There were quite a few of those done by various shops then. I thought some were neat and some were kinda ooogly. To show how old I am, we used to read those small size custom magazines at the drug store after school in the 50s.

Of course, we just read them and put 'em back on the rack....didn't buy very many of them.
