Sorry for the dumb question but..... Is the panel light switch for the instrument panel? I have three lights on the roof. Are they add ons or are they panel lights? Are suspect they are add ons. Thanks for the help!

Yes, the panel lights are the instrument lights. Your roof lights might be hooked up to the same switch.

If they are the same vintage as the truck, I think it would be cool to keep them, especially if you are going original. If they are the newer all plastic ones I would ditch them.

I dont know what it is about those kind of roof lights....I can't think of any classic truck that I liked them on. JMHO

Wanna sell them or trade for the handles ?

I like them if they are the old chromed metal ones. Maybe not on a 1/2 ton but on 1 tons and larger.

Oh God....it's a Ford

Let me take a good look at them. I don't know what shape they are in. I don't want to misrepresent their condition. I won't be out to work on my truck for a couple weeks. I'll let you know what condition they are in and then we can discuss. So let me just pay you for the handles and we can talk about the lights separate.

You are making me think they are worth something!

They are worth two somethings.......(2) 48-50 Dodge truck door handles with eschuceons.;)

Usually , I've noticed, the cab lights total 5 with 3 grouped in the center and then the outside ones farther away. I have 2 green ones that might look cool with the orange ones. Cool around the holidays anyway.

Had five of those bad boys on my Pilothouse roof when I got it. The only way I could get 'em off was with a chisel, they were rusted up so badly. Square machine nuts on the inside, and nothing would turn. Nasty things to get off and it took several hours of body work to get the roof looking like it should.

Personally, add-on things don't do too much for me. Took a Fulton visor off mine, too and donated it to my son for a larger truck. Go figure . . .
