epix1718 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Well word got around from talking with coworkers about the '42 Plymouth I inherited, well another coworker told me about his friend who wanted to show me something, honestly had no idea what was in store. Got invited out to nice finished "pole barn" just out of town and upon entering the building saw this: Quote
rearview Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 wow.. what a collection. That pink ragtop is my dream car. One of the best looking cars ever built. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Super nice collection. Ya never know what's lurking about in the old car world. Quote
PatS.... Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Wow!!!! Who needs a house when you have that!!! One thing missing, though... a sprinkler system I've been hearing too much lately about treasures like this going up in smoke. With all that gas and oil, a sprinkler system would let me sleep at night. Quote
Brendan D25 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 That's quite a collection. I bet you enjoyed that visit, I know I would. Thanks for sharing. Brendan. Quote
BloodyKnuckles Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 What's a Desota? I believe you posted pics of DeSoto's and might I add fantastic photos!! Thank you taking the time. BloodyKnuckles Quote
Reg Evans Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Wow ! What a collection. Hey thanks ! I just learned some trivia today. The gauge cluster in the yellow DeSoto vert. with the fuzzy dice is the same cluster used in the 48-50 & 54-57 Dodge Trucks. Quote
pflaming Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Does that collection belong to one person? It is more than impressive. Liked the black and white pickup. Quote
epix1718 Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Sorry about Desota/DeSoto thing.. I really don't know classic cars too well and I'm only 24. Collection all belongs to one man, very friendly fellow too. Quote
