Okay the engine is at the machine shop, the overdrive is awaiting parts, the disk brakes and kingpins are slowly getting done, now it's radiator time......

Question is; the rad needs to be replaced, after a cleaning there are several......no lots of pin holes in the tubes. Reputable rad shop is wondering about the "cut out" in the upper tank. This is for the fan clearance but i don't have any pictures to show how close the fan is to the top of the tank and i can't remember. Does the top tank need this curved cut out to clear the fan ?

What are my options ??????

Perhaps it blew away on the aforemenioned Saskatchewan Screamer.......In which case it may be here tomorrow.

When I was looking for a radiator for my sudebaker truck, I ran across a site called the radiator barn. I think I found that ford pickup truck radiators from the early to mid 60's were similar in size, and had the inlet out let in the right place. But with the measurments form your old rad and the inlet out let location you should be able to match something up. If you think there might be fan clearence issues the old mount it on the front of the bracket trick might work with some modification of the shrouding that goes between the grill and the rad. The stuff there is fairly inexpensive
