Ernie Baily Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Hello everyone, I just wanted to show off my Plymouth dressed for Christmas and also show off my Plymouth Christmas card. I started with a 1947 Plymouth ad and dropped in pics of myself and family and of course my Plymouth. I had a friend do the photoshop work and then had Kinkos print them. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Quote
1940plymouth Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Ernie, Great job, thanks for sharing, Merry Christmas, Bob Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Ernie, Nice job. Did you know there was an old ad that shows the house, P15 and the people looking out the window. Is that what you used and just had your pictures inserted into the house? Looks like the same house, driveway and garage of the old advertisement. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Norm, I gathered that he did use that ad with his revisions. Pretty neat. Welcome Ernie. Where do you live? You might add a little info to your profile on your location, either general or specific, yourself, and your car. Quote
Ernie Baily Posted December 16, 2008 Author Report Posted December 16, 2008 Hi, I've had this idea for a few years and have been wanting to do this, but I don't know Photoshop! A friend at work did this for me! Now I have to come up with a Idea so I can use my Black 55 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer for next Year. Right now I'm using my Plymouth(since May) as my everyday driver. I'm almost done rebuilding the Dodges 270 Hemi. Luckly I live in Simi Valley, CA and the weather is pretty good and I'm only about 15min from work! Quote
Young Ed Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Post pics of the dodge! I used to have this one. Quote
Ernie Baily Posted December 16, 2008 Author Report Posted December 16, 2008 Here is my Dodge, which really is my everyday driver. The engine(270 Hemi) is about finished, Trans has been rebuilt, Disc brakes on the front, all new wiring & converted to 12volt, Classic Auto Air rear unit, Interior is partly done. I just love driving both the Plymouth and the Dodge(just like my first car) Quote
rolliejoe Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Looks great and so do both of your cars! Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, to you and yours. Your cars look great and that Christmas card is great. Dennis:cool: Quote
Brendan D25 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Welcome to the forum Ernie and Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and your family. I like both your cars, cheers, Brendan. Quote
Captain Neon Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 Now ya got me thinking for next year. Wanted to go "American Gothic" this year, but being new to town, didn't know any one that I could ask to take our picture in front of our new house. Quote
