Dennis Hemingway Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 We went to our Toys 4 Tots Car Show here in Barstow today and this true barn find was there. It is a Dodge and had been parked in the barn for 20 years. The new owner bought it, washed it, changed the oil in the original Hemi and it started right up, the tires are even the tires that were on it. The rest of the photos from this car show will be on hotrodhotline.com sometime later this week. Dennis:eek: Quote
55 Fargo Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Love the car Dennis, but would not ever ride on a set of 20 YO tires, espicially at high speeds this hemi could get to..........Fred Quote
Brendan D25 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 What a find. It's a great looking car. It's good to see those barn finds being found and put on the road. Quote

Once running the tire shop would have been my first stop. Quote
Normspeed Posted November 19, 2008 Report Posted November 19, 2008 Nice photos Dennis. I remember a few of those cars from the Hi Desert meet a while back, especially your wife's 56, and the dark red Monte Carlo (a real beautiful job) and the orange Ford 2 door with the white flames. I bought my car with older Sears bias plies all around, lots of good tread but years old. I did drive the car quite a lot, even on the freeways, before I went to Michelins. Never had a blowout or a flat but the handling with bias plies was awful. Quote
