Norm's Coupe Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 If your car won't start, do what this guy did. A local Milwaukee area man could not get his lawnmower started. So.........he got out his gun and shot it. :D Only problem with that is. Around here it's illegal to fire a gun in the city. So.....he got arrested for shooting his lawnmower and was charged with disorderly conduct. :D The dead lawnmower was a Lawnboy. Quote
48Chrashler Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 In California, if you shoot the lawnboy, it is a felony. Quote
PatS.... Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 In California, if you shoot the lawnboy, it is a felony. So, shooting the poolboy is fair game? Quote
John Mulders Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 not if he is around the pool... Quote
Don Coatney Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I can picture it..... Norms P-15 Coupe was found shot full of holes at the local drive in movie theater. The occupants in the car were well preserved as they were frozen. They went to see "Closed For The Season" :D Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Norm has a movie screen at the end of his driveway? Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted November 8, 2008 Author Report Posted November 8, 2008 I can picture it..... Norms P-15 Coupe was found shot full of holes at the local drive in movie theater. The occupants in the car were well preserved as they were frozen. They went to see "Closed For The Season" :D All the Drive In theaters around here have been closed and torn down for years. One that was closest to me is now part of an industrial park. In fact, I only know of one Drive In theater left in Wisconsin and it's 60 or more miles from me one way. So..........you won't see my P15 coupe at a drive in theater. But.......I've decided that from now on the car will be driven all year round (except January because the plates are no good that month). So........any day it's above about 30 degrees outside and roads are dry, I'll try to drive it at least once a week. Will take off my spinners for the winter and put the 53 Plymouth hubcaps on in their place. Will also leave off the skirts for winter driving. By the way. The guy who shot his Lawnboy shot it right square in the center of the forehead. :D Had a picture of it on the news. Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Norm, does WI salt real heavy? I got my car from SD, was real lucky I guess they don't salt or it is very minimal. Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted November 8, 2008 Author Report Posted November 8, 2008 Norm, does WI salt real heavy? I got my car from SD, was real lucky I guess they don't salt or it is very minimal. I'd say so. They start salting just before the snow starts to fall, during while plowing and then after the storm is over. Streets are covered with salt most of the time during winter. But........the way I look at it, the coupe spent it's whole life in northern Wisconsin and is still standing. Whats a little more salt. Anyway, I bought the car to fix up and drive. So.........why let it sit, may as well enjoy it while I can. It will never be a 100 point show car anyway. Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Esmey has a cow when I go for a spin during the WHITE months, salt, collisions and knuckleheads! Don't go more than a few miles but it's got to be better than just letting it idle. And more fun! That's the only time my stocker gets a little fish tailing. Better than nothing! Quote
Don Jordan Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 I am curious - what did that guy shoot the lawn boy with? I've seen a 50 cal go through an engine block - but a lawn mower? .357? Quote

Just showed a picture with the bullet hole in the lawn mower. Was a nice big hole though. Just a single hole so it wasn't a shotgun. Quote
