dezeldoc Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 The firewall will need to be moved back about 4" for a 440 to fit. I made my own mounts it is pretty easy. The 440 in them makes for a fun ride! Forgot to mention B body headers also fit. Quote

I'll agree that to fit well the firewall should be moved, but on the other hand when I was looking for my 47, one of the cars I looked at had a 440 with a stock firewall, but it was really high off of the frame. He had to cut out almost the entire front floor section to build a huge tunnel. Not a good idea, IMHO. Marty Quote
