Bingster Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 Anybody had any dealings with Atlas Obsolete Parts on ebay? Specifically their cotton lacquered spark plug wires. They say they're flawless and I'll love them. Quote
TodFitch Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 Anybody had any dealings with Atlas Obsolete Parts on ebay? Specifically their cotton lacquered spark plug wires. They say they're flawless and I'll love them. As a mail order business I have heard they are okay, but cannot vouch for that personally as the one time I called them they did not have what I wanted. If the eBay ad is the one I have seen, then I think you can do better: If you are going for originality the 1930s (and I am pretty sure later) Plymouths used a black cloth lacquered spark plug wires with right angle connections to the plugs. So the yellow with colored tracers on the cloth is incorrect as is, I am pretty sure, the straight on connector for the plugs. On the other hand if you want something brightly colored for under the hood modern wires are available at your local auto supply. (Disclosure: I have the yellow lacquered cloth covered spark plug wires but I bought the roll of wire before I knew it was wrong and I am d**nd if I am going to waste it. I pick up the end pieces and boots at the local auto supply to make up the replacement wires.) Quote
RHDSP15C Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 I bought one item from them and later found that I had been gouged. However, they are not alone. Quote
dezeldoc Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I bought a set of the wires from them, they are nice but over priced and they are slow slow on shipping!! I am about 70 miles from them and it took 2 weeks to get them. they are the black lacqured ones. Quote
